In the annals of Kannada cinema history this type of making and production values in addition to technicalities is not seen so far.

Prashanth Neel and Hombale Films have written a new chapter via ‘KGF’, it is mind blowing in making and spectacular in narration. Not only Kannadigas even the non Kannadigas should feel proud of this type of film with lavish scale of ‘KGF’ with top standards.

Prashanth Neel of ‘Ugram’ fame has set a new standard for himself and for the sequel he has made it tough for him. He is so stunning and superb in over all narration. The character of Yash is at the peak and how he constructs the strength in the character deserves kudos.

The gold of KGF (Kolar Gold Field) is essentially the entire team of the film. The shining gold is Yash and there is no doubt about it. The power added to Yash character, dialogues writer, the screenplay magic is the hall mark. Yash fans obviously feel great about this film.

In the action dose that is at extreme, Prashan Neel has given scope for mother character, the down trodden like slaves in the rule of ‘Garuda’ make your hearts melt.

Who is this Rocky? Born in 1951 on the day the KGF – gold was discovered is a monster like man. He can take on any negative strength and convert it to positive. That is Rocky childhood strength. He wants ‘Dhuniya’ for him. He is a Mumbai don and in a row puts down ten dons to herald a beginning of his regime.

Such a strong man is given the deal of finishing an Elephant that is nothing but Garuda who is ruling the roost in the Narachi – empire of Suryavardhana. There is faction in the huge family that is at the hilt of arrogance. Yet Garuda is the chief controller.

To this highest and strongest den comes Rocky. He is one among the 20000 workers of gold mine. He plans his own way to put down Garuda in the Mariyamma festival and emerge as ‘Sultan’.

It is no doubt Rocking star Yash best so far in terms of making, taking, writing, smashing, killing etc. He is rock solid not iron solid! The comedy portion is also handled by Rocking star Yash at places.

The high headed Desai daughter Reena (Srinidi Shetty) is magnificent in looks and she melts to the heart of Rocky. This particular situation of keeping high the mother character (Prapanchada Atyantha Dodda Yoda is Mother) and Reena in tears for Rocky attitude is something tremendous.

The dozen actors like Ananthnag, Ramesh Indira, Achyuth Kumar, B Suresha, Vasishta Simha and others are superb in their roles.

Bhuvan Gowda cinematography is sure to get a series of awards for the magnificent style in takings. The black and white environment is fed very beautifully on screen. The special effects are another trump card of this film.

Ravi Basroor scores both in his tunes and also in background. The serene atmosphere and songs in the background is memorable.

Dialogues written for Yash and other characters are value addition. The ‘Hawa’ of Yash is at the national level.

It is a film by Kannadiga Prashanth Neel that is best even for non Kannadigas too! Go and watch this film without fail.
